Spring Equinox

Another example of overlap in my Embodied Spirituality and Archeomythology BLOGs:

Saturday night, the night between Women's Sprituality sessions, just on the eve of the Spring Equinox and therefore my baby-child's birthday. Folklore suggests a connection between great souls being born at these times of the year....

My honey and I were biking to see our friends who live in the Cooperatives on campus.
We had no idea the weather would be so idyllic...

A surprising offer to have a beer presented itself, which I was ultimately unable to refuse. It seemed a fitting sacrament for the intoxicating Equinox...

I had just gotten back from the first half of a Women's Sprirituality weekend, synchronicity abounded and then I noticed this hilarious comic taped to the heater at the Co-ops:

"Shocked and dismayed, fundamentalists retreated in horror when at the Second Coming
it was Astarte, the Earth Goddess, that returned."
